Rise to Lead Young Speakers

Entry Form

Our public speaking final for children aged 8 to 12. Fill this in to enter your child, it takes 2 minutes. Speaking places are limited and confirmed in order of entry, and entries for each final close 1 week before it, or earlier if all places fill. Entry is free for members of the Rise to Lead club and £15 for everyone else.

02 How the night works

Each speaker has up to 3 minutes on a subject of their own choosing. Talks are judged in 2 age groups, 8 to 9 and 10 to 12. Every child who enters speaks at the final, there are no eliminations beforehand, and every speaker goes home with a certificate. Named awards run across the evening, and each age group has 1 trophy.

03 The entry fee

Entry is free for members of the Rise to Lead club, and their place is confirmed once membership is checked. For everyone else the fee is £15, paid by card straight after this form. The place is confirmed on payment, and the confirmation email follows the moment the payment is received.

04 Your information

We keep your details only to run the final and hold a record of this entry. We don't pass them to anyone else without your say-so, and we delete them within 24 months of the final unless the law says we have to keep them.
